Mohakhali Sattala Slum Covid Relief During Lockdown

As the country facing a huge increase in Covid cases, Bangladesh is now in the most strict lockdown mode. People that are hit the most are the day laborers. Some day laborers living in the slums of Dhaka are being hit financially where they can't pay for basic necessities. Our goal is to help as many families as we can in the Mohakhali Sattala Bosti who are facing severe financial hardship.

This is a time sensitive project where we are trying to raise funds to distribute during or right after Korbani Eid in 2021. Please donate generously as we will try to help as many families as possible.  

Our deadline for this project is set to July 19th, because we need a few days to purchase the products:

• Rice - 10kg
• Potatoes - 2kg
• Oil - 1kg
• Lentil (daal) - 1kg
• Onion - 1kg
• Salt - 1kg
• Soap - 1 Detol Soap
• Mask - 1
• Estimated cost per family: $910 taka ($10.83 USD)

We will make individual packages for families and distribute immediately after Eid. Thank you for your genorisity in advance :)
