Sweety's Story Since Sponsorship:

Sweety has been attending school and private tuitions regularly now. Soon we'll get her admitted to a new school. She is a quick learner and is doing very well in her studies. She is very attentive in all the Shapla Foundation programs that we are setting up for the kids. She is very appreciative of her sponsor, Anamika Kalam. We are so happy to be part of her life's success journey. 

Sweety's Story During Sponsorship Application:

Sweety’s name is well fit to her personality. She is very affable, sweet and is a people person; which makes sense as she grew up in a large, 7 member family! However, living with 7 people also has its downsides, considering they live in a cramped 2 bedroom apartment. Unfortunately, Sweetie's mother passed away when she was small and her father is a day laborer but can’t push himself as much as before due to old age. At the tender age of 11, Sweety’s life is full of daily hardships that could be decreased if she was able to get a sponsor.
