Nadim Hasan
(Kapasia, Gazipur)
Nadim is a talented 9th-grade student at Taragonj Horendra Narayan Uchcha Madhyamic Bidyalaya. Nadim’s father is a day laborer who works on other people’s land. He does not own any land of his own and relies solely on irregular, daily-wage work. On days when work is available, he earns around 500 taka but there are many days when no work comes at all. This unstable and limited income is barely enough to cover their basic needs, let alone school fees and educational materials. As a 9th grader, Nadim’s academic expenses have increased significantly. His family now struggles to afford his tuition fees, books, and other school supplies. Adding to the burden is the cost of educating his younger sister, which places an even greater strain on their already stretched finances. Despite these challenges, Nadim continues to attend school with determination and hope. He believes that education is the only path toward a better life for himself and for his family. However, without external support, it is becoming increasingly difficult for his parents to keep him in school. A sponsorship will not only cover his school expenses but will also give him the encouragement and stability he needs to pursue his dreams and work toward a brighter future.
