Rabeya Akter

Rabeya is the eldest of four sisters in a hardworking but struggling family. Her father runs a small grocery shop in their neighborhood, and her mother helps him with it every day. Together, they earn a modest amount that barely covers their basic needs. Most of this income goes back into restocking the shop, leaving very little for food, household expenses, or anything extra. Among her three younger sisters, one has autism and needs special care and attention. Rabeya’s parents do their best, but the emotional and financial demands are overwhelming. used to attend private tutoring to keep up with her studies, but recently her parents had to discontinue it, as they could no longer afford the cost. Despite this, Rabeya tries to continue learning on her own and helps her younger sisters with their schoolwork as well. She is a quiet, caring, and responsible girl who dreams of continuing her education and building a better future, not just for herself, but for her entire family. A sponsorship would help her achieve her dream and ease the struggle of her family.
