Md. Jahidul Islam Joy
(Mohakhali Sattala Slum, Dhaka)
The sponsorship has created a steady path for Jahidul at a time when his education was uncertain. With reliable support for his schooling, he no longer has to pause or compromise his studies due to financial pressure. This security has helped him develop stronger study habits and a deeper sense of responsibility toward his education. He is now more attentive in class and approaches his lessons with a clear purpose. At home, the change has been deeply felt. For parents who work physically demanding jobs in the city, the rising cost of living has made planning for the future extremely difficult. The sponsorship has eased that strain and given the family breathing space, knowing that Jahidul’s learning is protected. Jahidul often speaks about his dream of becoming a doctor with renewed belief. His family remains sincerely thankful to the sponsor for opening this door for him. To them, this support represents trust, encouragement, and a real opportunity for Jahidul to grow into someone who can one day serve others and uplift his community.
Jahidul Islam Joy is a 5th-grade student who dreams of becoming a doctor someday. He has an older sister who is in 8th grade. His family lives in the capital, where his father works in construction and his mother at a garment production company. Living in the city is expensive, and even with both parents working, their income isn’t enough to cover all the costs of Jahidul’s education. He is determined to continue studying so he can help others as a doctor in the future. With a little financial support, Jahidul could stay in school and keep moving toward his goal of serving his community. He hopes for the chance to make his dream come true and create a better life for himself and his family.
