(Mirpur 12 Slum, Dhaka)
The sponsorship has been a turning point in Rayhan’s life, giving him the opportunity to continue his education without the constant worry of financial hardship. With his school fees, books, and other educational needs now supported, Rayhan can attend classes regularly and focus fully on his studies. His dedication and enthusiasm for learning have grown, and he is gradually showing improvement in his academic performance. For Rayhan’s family, the sponsorship has brought much-needed relief. His father, who works long hours pulling a rickshaw, no longer has to fear that his son’s education will be interrupted due to financial constraints. His parents are deeply grateful for this support, as it has eased their burden and given them hope for a more stable future. Rayhan studies with renewed confidence and determination, carrying a deep sense of gratitude in his heart. For him and his family, the sponsorship is more than financial assistance; it is a chance to rebuild their lives and work toward a brighter future.
Rayhan is a 6th-grade student at Holy Crescent School & College. Originally from Gaibandha, he now lives in Dhaka with his family. About five years ago, a devastating flood destroyed their home, forcing them to move to the city in search of a better life. Rayhan’s father works as a rickshaw puller, while his mother stays at home to care for him and his younger sister. Despite his father’s hard work, the family struggles financially, and there isn’t enough money to cover Rayhan’s education. Rayhan is passionate about his studies and dreams of continuing his education. With some financial help, he can stay in school and work towards a brighter future for himself and his family.
