Riya's Story Since Sponsorship:

The sponsorship has provided much-needed relief to Riya's family, who have been going through a difficult time. Now that Riya's school fees have been paid, her parents don't have to use their meager salary to pay for everything. Knowing that Riya's future is in capable hands lets them concentrate more on caring for Riya's younger sister and grandmother. Riya also loves being in the program as she has made a lot of friends here. She likes spending time with her friends, participating in group activities, and learning new things every day that help her develop. Her father is incredibly grateful for the support. He knows how important this opportunity is for Riya and is thankful that she now has a real chance at a brighter future. This sponsorship is not only easing their daily struggles—it’s lighting the way for Riya to dream bigger. 

Riya's Story During Sponsorship Application:

Riya's father is a street food vendor. His meager income isn't enough to support his entire family. Riya's grandmother also resides with them. Her medical expenses take up a significant portion of RIya's father's income. Due to the young age of Riya's younger sister, Riya's mother is unable to work outside. With all of these, they are finding it extremely difficult to pay for Riya's education. A sponsorship would help to ease their struggle.
