Jannatul's Story Since Sponsorship:

Jannatul is really passionate about drawing. However, it was getting difficult for her to focus on that with her head full of worry about her education. As the eldest daughter, she understood their situation well. But when she got the sponsorship, she did not have to worry about her studies anymore. This sponsorship helped a lot to bear her education expenses. She manages her time well to complete her studies, participate in our weekly activity programs, and also have time for her drawing. She loves this routine that keeps her busy with the things she loves. She is really grateful to her sponsor, Ahmed Anik, for this. We are really happy for her and happy to be a part of her journey.

Jannatul is a quiet girl who expresses herself through her drawings. It’s not only a hobby for her, it’s a passion. She never comes second in any drawing competition at school, that’s how zealous she is. However, she knows that only being good at art is not enough to survive in this world, this motivates her to study with all her heart so that she can continue art as a passion. Nevertheless, life is not so simple. Her father works as a caretaker at a housing society. His earnings are not sufficient to maintain the educational cost of his two daughters. He was struggling to keep them at school even before the pandemic and now it has become almost impossible for him. As the eldest daughter, Jannatul really wants to continue her studies, so that she can get a job and put an end to their struggle. A sponsorship would really help her achieve her dreams and ease their struggle.
