Ayesha Rahman
(Mohammadpur, Dhaka)
Thanks to the sponsorship, Ayesha can continue her education at the madrasa, where she is receiving the special care she needs. The financial support has eased the burden on her family, allowing them to prioritize her schooling without the constant worry of how to cover the costs. Ayesha is making progress, slowly learning to communicate better, and her hearing aid is helping her to hear more clearly. Her family is incredibly grateful for the sponsorship, as it has given Ayesha the opportunity to attend madrasa and receive the education that is so important for her future. They are thankful for the sponsor's kindness, which has not only helped Ayesha but has also brought hope and relief to the entire family. We are also glad that we got a chance to be a part of Ayesha’s journey.
The people living in slums struggle a lot. For Ayesha and her family, it is more difficult than others. Ayesha cannot talk or hear. She needs special care. She goes to a school for special children like her. Slowly she’s learning to talk and can hear a little with her hearing aid. However, the school is quite expensive for them. Her father is a driver. It is very difficult for them to maintain their expenses with his little income. Ayesha’s mother cannot work, as she takes care of Ayesha and her younger sister. Even in their dire situation, they don’t want to stop Ayesha’s schooling. They want her to have a normal life as any other kid. So, her schooling is a necessity for her. If she could get a sponsorship, it would really help them to continue her schooling and give her an opportunity to have a normal life.
