After Mim's mother died, her elder sister took over the household responsibilities. Now she has to take on earning responsibility as well, as their father is sick. Due to his sickness, Mim's father cannot work at all. Her elder sister got a low-paying job to support the family. Even so, her income can barely cover their food expenses. She has to support their other sister as well along with paying for their father's treatment. They really struggle to maintain their expenses. In this dire situation, it is nearly impossible for Mim's sister to bear Mim's educational costs. If Mim could get a sponsorship, it would take some burden off of her sister's shoulders and help her to continue her education.
