Farzana's Story Since Sponsorship:
It is not easy to go back to studies after a long break. Farzana had been detached from her studies for two years. It was really difficult for her to catch up with her classmates. However, she didn’t give up. She got another chance and she did not want to throw that away. She asked for the help of the tutor we had arranged for her. She had to work really hard to manage her studies and her duties at home. In the end, she succeeded. She did really well in her final examinations. She is very grateful to her sponsor, Abdur Baig, for giving her a chance to study again. We are very proud of how far she’s come. We are really happy that we got to be a part of her life journey.
Farzana's Story During Sponsorship Application:
Farzana loves books and learning new things through reading. Unfortunately, her school and the school library was the only source of books in her environment. Farzana's father is a rickshaw puller and with a family of 7, it is quite a strenuous feat to maintain everyone's daily expenses. He couldn't pay Farzana's school fees. So, she had to drop out of school. She was in 8th grade. Farzana knew that she might have to drop out of school but she was hoping that she could at least study till her Secondary School Certificate exam. Farzana's mother spoke to us about how hard it has been on Farzana because she used to love going to school. If she gets a sponsorship, she'll be able to go to school and read all her books again.
