Khushi's Story Since Sponsorship:

Life hasn’t been easy for Khushi. It would have been a waste of potential if she couldn’t go to school ever again. However, having the sponsorship allowed her to focus on her education without any worries. She got admitted to school again. She’s doing really well in her school now. This year she came in 10th place in her class. She was really happy to do so well. She is not only good at studies, but she’s also very attentive to the activity programs we set for the kids. She is really appreciative of her sponsor, Abdur Rouf, for giving her another chance to go to school and fulfill her dreams. We are very proud of how far she’s come. We are really happy that we got to be a part of her life journey.  

Khushi's Story During Sponsorship Application:

Khushi is the second of four siblings. She had a happy life in her village like any other kid. She used to go to school there with her elder sister. However, her life changed drastically when her parents decided to come to Dhaka. Her father couldn't find any job there due to the pandemic. So he came to Dhaka looking for a job. But life here turned out to be harder. Khushi's father sells masks here and her mother works as a maidservant. Now they can't afford to send their daughters to school. Still, Khushi hopes that one day she'll be able to go to school again and do something for her family in the future. A sponsorship would help her keep that dream alive.
