Sharmin's Story Since Sponsorship:

The sponsorship is making a significant difference in Sharmin's life. She is receiving the tutoring she requires as a result of the support, which is allowing her to do better in school and feel more secure. She also receives books, stationery, and other necessities, allowing her family to avoid further expenses. Furthermore, Sharmin enjoys participating in the entertaining activity programs that we organize. It's a great opportunity for her to spend time with her friends and have fun, which she hasn't had much of due to her responsibilities at home. Sharmin is extremely grateful to her sponsor for providing her with the opportunity to continue her studies and for all of her support. 

Sharmin's Story During Sponsorship Application:

Sharmin spends most of her time looking after her younger sister and their house. Both her parents have to work, leaving Sharmin and her sister alone at home. Yet, they are struggling to stay out of debt. As a maid, Sharmin's mother cannot earn much and her father also doesn't have any stable income. He is a decorator. One month he may have 2/3 events, in other months he may not get any events. It's very uncertain. With this income, they maintain their family with great difficulties. And as both Sharmin and her sister are growing up their expenses are increasing as well. In these circumstances, it is very difficult for them to continue Sharmin's education. After providing for the basic necessities, paying for her books, tuition, and other accessories is not feasible for them. But they really want her to study because now they know the importance of education. If they can get some help, they would be able to keep her at school longer.
