Lima's Story Since Sponsorship:

Lima has been attending private tuition regularly now. Soon we'll get her admitted to a school. With many challenges at home, she has been trying very hard to make time for all the Shapla Foundation programs we are setting up for the kids. She is very appreciative of the sponsor. We are so happy to be part of her life's success journey. 

Lima's Story During Sponsorship Application:

As a young teen, Lima has been through many misfortunes in her life, like the death of her father, but that doesn’t stop her from sticking to her studies. She's an ambitious young lady who looks up to her mother who herself is the only breadwinner in their family. She works as a house maid but recently has faced a decrease in income due to the pandemic and other factors. Because of this Lima has just been forced to drop out of school. This doesn’t stop Lima from continuing to try and finish her syllabus by herself, to the best of her ability. She tells us that her motivation to study is a dream to build a better life for herself and her family. Her dream could easily be achieved with the help of a sponsor to help get her back in school. Her potential is endless and all she needs is a little support.
